The mission of Claremont Press is to publish (digitally and in print) scholarly resources in religious studies, particularly interreligious dialogue resources, in a manner that promotes critical inquiry and compassionate action in academic and religious communities.

Claremont Press is the official imprint of Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, CA. CST is a United Methodist seminary with a strong commitment to interreligious dialogue. Dating back to its founding in the 1950s, CST has maintained a strong commitment to critical scholarship in the service of faith.  CST offers diverse Masters and Doctoral degrees, including PhD, DMin, MDiv, and MA degrees.

Claremont Press publishes critical scholarship in religious studies, including studies in sacred texts, in the history of religious traditions and religious thought, in theoretical and practical theology and in interreligious dialogue. CST Press welcomes studies focused on any of the world’s great religious traditions and texts. The press particularly appreciates works with an interreligious interest. All publications must pass through rigorous peer review.
