CST Press publishes dissertations, but only after the dissertation has been approved by the student’s home institution and has passed the press’s peer-review process. CST Press does not publish dissertations which are already available online or in print.
Will CST Press publish the proceedings of my conference?
CST Press publishes the proceedings of scholarly conferences, but only when the proceedings share a common theme and have passed the press’s peer-review process. CST does not publish proceedings which are already available online or in print.
Does CST Press use peer-review?
Yes. All works are peer-reviewed before publication.
Can I submit my manuscript to CST Press while it is under review with another publisher?
CST Press discourages this practice and may not review works which are under review at other presses.
Does CST Press charge authors for publication?
No. CST Press never charges for publication.
What CST Press pay royalties to authors?
Yes. CST Press pays royalties on all book sales. The amount of royalties varies depending on the volume of sales and the medium of the sale (ebook or print).
How long does CST Press take to publish a book?
The peer-review process takes up to 6 months; publication takes up to 1 year after a contract is signed.
Will CST Press consider my book proposal for an unfinished manuscript?
CST Press only accepts proposals for completed monographs, but the press will accept proposals for scholarly collections which are in development.
Will CST Press proofread my work or provide editorial advice about my work?
CST Press will typeset the work and copy edit the work, but the press expects the author or editor to provide a camera ready copy of the work. The author is expected to provide indexing, bibliography and biographical details about the author.
